When I cashed my first paycheck, I called it paying myself first.

Financial Freedom Friday

TURNING KNOWLEDGE INTO WEALTH BY $MAXWELL

"I've been here 46 years," the business owner told me when I asked why he was selling his building and his company. "I'm 88 years old" he said. The entire time my internal dialogue is thinking this guy is way over his 4,000 weeks...

He had a clear exit strategy: take the business he and his wife built and hand it down to his daughter, then step away and enjoy life. But life doesn't always consult our plans. She passed away unexpectedly, devastating and ignoring his strategy. He's been limping along for the last 5 years because he wanted out...

Ironically I started reading 4,000 weeks on Monday. If you aren't familiar on average we life for 4,000 weeks.

Now, this business owner is 208 weeks past the average 4,000-week human lifespan, he is FINALLY trying to figure out how to go "live life."

As he told me: "I'm tired of working. You've seen the numbers... The business isn't doing what it used to because I just can't do this anymore."

My point isn't about the commercial property deal my partners and I are looking at.

It's that YOUR time is right NOW

Tomorrow, I turn 2,423 weeks old. (What week are you on? dqydj.com/age-in-weeks-calculator)

Financial freedom starts when you pay yourself first with your money. But true freedom requires paying yourself first with your time.

If you don't, you end up at the finish line carrying a mountain of regrets.

Most people fall into the trap of reacting to the world first: clear the inbox, knock out everyone else's priorities, and hope there's some energy left over at the end of the day for the things that actually matter.

It's a trap. If you answer emails at 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM, people just learn to email you at 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

Dedicate the first block of your day to your highest-value priorities. Let the secondary demands wait, because that list never ends.

Stop making excuses about all the things you need to line up before you take control of your income and your schedule.

Waiting to feel "ready" is an illusion. It's like petting a unicorn...

Being comfortable in your mind before taking action just doesn't happen. The biggest challenge so many traders have is they lack the confidence to execute. They need a little push, or someone to join them on a trade to execute.

You get comfortable by putting in the reps. You put in the reps by carving out the time.

If you want to join likeminded people, who value their time and like passive income: Come join us in the Inner Circle Our weekly income newsletter (WIN) sets up a single trade each Monday morning, right after market open, and puts income straight into your account... Just like a paycheck, without all the hours.

And for the mornings you can't be at your screen, I just launched W.O.W.: a few trades we setup every weekend and let the income to us. I call it W.O.W. because it's shocking how passive you can make the stock market, if you want to.

If you don't join, that's no problem. There's always tomorrow. Or next week? Hopefully.

Turning knowledge into wealth,
$Maxwell
